U-2 sing the song "Bloody Sunday" for the day 1/30/1972 in Irish, and we do have any song to remember 228.

A famous Movie "Bloody Sunday” reminds people not to forget the day, Irish Civil Rights Movement and the causalities killed by British Army.

However, Taiwanese have nothing. No song(as least not popular)talks about 228. No movie discuss 228 in detail. The worst is when we touch the topic of 228, we are accused of giving rise of race-conflicts. But they remember Chinese-Japanese War forever.
When we assure that Taiwan should be an independent country, they insult us that we forget our ancestors and blame us that we deny our original.

I do not know why we get scold when we do those things Civil Rights allowed
